Growing Primary Care Resilience
Primary care is the lynchpin of a healthy society, especially in times of natural disaster. Making primary care responsive and resilient at those times is of utmost importance.
That’s why Regional Business HQ is delivering the Growing Primary Care Resilience program in Rockhampton, Livingstone, Bundaberg and Fraser Coast council areas.
The program has two core resilience goals, all delivered at no charge to eligible participants:
- Strengthen the resilience of local primary care providers and communities to a changing climate and disasters.
- Improve the integration and role of primary care providers and systems in local and district disaster management coordination across preparedness, response, and recovery.

This primary healthcare program is funded by Country to Coast Queensland (CCQ) through the Australian Government’s PHN program and is supported by the Resilient CARE program, a partnership between CCQ and Australian Business Volunteers.
