What if\, you could bring your whole brain to exploring that business idea you’ve been carrying around? \nThe Whole Brain Business does just that. \nThe Whole Brain Business is a 12-week program that weaves the world’s leading thinking-styles tool (Herrmann Brain Dominance Instrument – HBDI) directly into every practical step of turning your idea into something real. \nOver 12 weeks you’ll: \n\nDiscover your HBDI profile and see how your thinking style shows up in everyday decisions and under pressure\nApply all four quadrants directly to your own idea: spotting problems\, generating solutions\, testing assumptions\, building a simple plan and pitching it confidently\nWork quadrant-by-quadrant on real progress steps stretching your weaker areas while playing to your strengths\nUse weekly Stop/Start/Continue reflections to literally watch your thinking become more flexible and balanced\nCraft elevator pitches\, customer conversations\, roadmaps\, and branding that speak to every type of person (investors\, customers\, partners)\n\nWeek-by-week\nWeek 1 – This session has been completed however late registrants can do a catch-up session.\nWeek 2 – Communication and putting the four thinking styles in action\nWeeks 3 & 4 – Ideation and validating your problem\nWeeks 5 & 6 – Market research and testing\nWeeks 7 & 8 – Shape your business model and plan\nWeeks 9 &10 – Build and test your first version\nWeeks 11& 12 Pitch your idea and next steps \nWhat will be your time commitment?\nThe program runs from 7th May 2026 until 30th July 2026 on Thursdays from 9.00am to 12.00pm (Bundaberg Show Holiday 28th May alternative date TBA). \nHow much does it cost?\nRegional Business HQ has secured funding to enable this program to be offered at no cost to participants. \nWho is the program for?\nThe program can benefit anyone who has an idea they want to develop or is looking for a new approach to their existing business. \nIt is especially beneficial if you’re: \n\nBetween jobs or feeling stuck in your career\nWondering “What’s next?” and curious about turning a side idea into a business\nReady to explore entrepreneurship without the overwhelm of traditional\naccelerators.\n\nThe Whole Brain Business gives you a clear\, supportive path forward. \nDo I need prior business experience?\nNo prior business experience needed just curiosity and an idea (or even just the spark of one). \nThe Whole Brain Business gives you a science-backed edge: clarity on how you think best\, tools to build something meaningful and the confidence to take that next step whether it’s a side project\, a new venture\, or simply figuring out what lights you up. \nRewire your thinking. One quadrant at a time. \nAbout Your Presenter – Nathan Spruce\n Nathan Spruce is a community services leader with 15+ years in the not-for-profit sector\, specialising in social change\, vulnerable population support and community resilience. Since joining IMPACT Community Services in 2012\, he has held progressively senior roles\, culminating in General Manager of Innovation (2019–2026). \nNathan has implemented a social listening and innovation frameworks\, led market expansion\, overseen mergers and acquisitions and delivered social enterprise startup incubators. He has secured $50M+ in funding for the Wide Bay region and co-designed services addressing disability\, employment\, training\, physical and mental health\, volunteering and the environment. \nBeyond IMPACT\, Nathan serves as Deputy Chair of the Queensland Social Enterprise Council\, guest lectures at CQUniversity and has supported 20+ nonprofits with tender writing and new program creation. He has also previously held board roles with Letters of Hope and the Bundaberg Chamber of Commerce. \nThroughout his career\, Nathan has remained driven by a belief that communities thrive when people are genuinely heard\, supported and given the tools to lead their own change. \nWhat’s the next step?\nPlease RSVP below.
