Growing Primary Care Resilience – Online session

As we begin 2026, natural disasters have already started, with floods in North Queensland and talk of a cyclone off the coast.

Pharmacists are really the front line in primary care, particularly in time of natural disasters.

That’s one of the reasons Country to Coast Qld has tasked us with running the Growing Primary Care Resilience workshops in Bundaberg, Fraser Coast, Rockhampton and Livingstone local government areas. You can find out more here.

We’re inviting you and your staff to this online, interactive presentation designed to equip pharmacy staff with the necessary skills and knowledge to withstand and recover from disasters:

This online information session/workshop will cover:

  • Risk assessment and management
  • Emergency preparedness
  • Crisis communication strategies

It would benefit a variety of staffing roles, including, owners, pharmacists, dispensary managers, retail managers and supervisors. However, we encourage all and any staff to consider joining us on the night.

When: 21 January 2026, 6.30pm to 7.30pm

Where: Online via Microsoft Teams

Growing Primary Care Resilience is funded by Country to Coast Queensland (CCQ) through the Australian Government’s PHN program and is supported by the Resilient CARE program, a partnership between CCQ and Australian Business Volunteers.
