The Financial Literacy workshop will provide participants with an understanding of the basic financial aspects of running a business. Participants will be able to understand small business finance terminology and be able to confidently discuss financial matters with a bookkeeper or an accountant. This workshop will help you to become aware of the financial aspects of a business and can help to know when to take advantage of opportunities for their business and make informed financial decisions.
The Financial Literacy workshop will provide participants with an understanding of:
- taxation and legal obligations
- business banking
- good bookkeeping practices
- cashflow and budgeting
- understanding financial reports
- business and relevant insurances
- resources, tools, systems and supports
